Don't Stall out!

Is your drive for your life goals in stall or neutral mode? You start your engine of ideas with motivation, spark and enthusiasm; then, shift your momentum to drive so you take some action on your ideas; and finally, transform those ideas to drive mode in the directions that will bring about your desired results? Then all of a sudden you find yourself stuck in neutral or idle mode, where you are expending all your gas but not going anywhere! You are pressing your foot down in what you think is an effort to move you forward, but all you get is a lot of noise in the same place. Get out of neutral in your life!

Reroute your internal GPS with a different route to get you to your destination goals. Take the time to look at the destination you want to reach, and plan accordingly. There will always be alternate roads, road blocks, and stop signs; but if you recalculate your ideas, plan out alternate routes and keep moving to the goal, you will get there eventually. Just don't stop your momentum and thereby, drive your efforts and ideas into circles of confusion.
This is not an easy task, especially when we feel lost and don't know which way to turn to get us to our next mile marker. Pray for direction before your trip and let God show you the proper route to navigate you to your destination of goals.

"Old" to be "New"

It's that time of year again...Time to make new promises and new goals, get new attitudes, start new diets, begin "again" at working out and vow to take better care of ourselves by looking out for number one...Self!

We make these new promises each year end, because we truly feel we'll put our best foot forward and do all the things that we promised ourselves we would do last year at this time and didn't quite accomplish! Our intentions are good, but our follow through is not so good.

Have you ever taken the time to ask why? Why do we start out with the best of intentions, then after a couple of weeks, or maybe a month into it, we lose our motivation, lose our focus, or life gets in the way, and then, "bam", we're back where we started and re-stating the same objectives for the next year!

Let's focus on getting off the merry go round this time. Let's put all our efforts into accomplishing those goals, let's redirect our motivation to be the person God wants us to be! Not by kidding ourselves into a false reality, but by putting a supreme effort into accepting the divine direction God has already planned for us and stepping into our utmost for Him.
